‘steam - rice’ in Nepali
This ‘piggy-back’ product uses the steam from cooking curries and stews for perfect rice... every time.
Observation based design, with the aim of making cooking simpler.
I tested different ways of cooking rice without a rice cooker; using a steamer, sieve and in a pan.
The basket and bowl would be injection moulded plastic, for its accessibility and durability.
The bowl can fit four portions of rice and would have guides for volume of rice and water on the inside
